How to Become a Superfan
Superfans are the heartbeat of Film.io. By becoming a Superfan of a project, you climb leaderboards to unlock perks, and help the stories you love get made. Here’s how to do it:
Step 1: Log In
Make sure you’re logged into your Film.io account. If you don’t have one yet, create an account first so you can start supporting projects.
Step 2: Choose a Project
Browse through the projects until you find one you want to support. Click on the project tile to open its detail page.
Pay special attention to projects that have the gradient-colored "Superfan Perks" button, as these are the projects that are actively offering superfan perks, such as a Superfan film credit (your name in the end credits!), exclusive access, calls with creators, digital collectibles, and so much more!
Step 3: Click “Become a Superfan”
On the project page, look for the Become a Superfan button and click it. This will open a pop-up modal that guides you through the process.
Step 4: Confirm by Clicking “Make me a Superfan!”
Inside the modal, click Superfan Me. This action stakes 100 FAN tokens into the project, and as a welcome bonus, you receive 100 free FAN so you can become a Superfan right away.
Step 5: You’re In!
Congratulations! You are now officially a Superfan of the project.
Your staked FAN shows your commitment to supporting this project and you'll be added to the project’s leaderboard.
You’ve unlocked access to exclusive Superfan perks, climb the leaderboard to earn them!
