Superfan Perks are exclusive rewards on Film.io that fans can earn by supporting projects. They include film credits, collectibles, and other unique experiences tied to leaderboard rankings.
How to View Project Perks
Perks are one of the most exciting parts of supporting projects on Film.io. They reward you for climbing the leaderboard and showing your support on the projects you love. Here’s how to know if a project is offering perks, and how to see the ones you can earn.
Step 1: Look for the “Perks” Tag
When browsing projects, check for gradient text that says “Perks” or “Superfan Perks.”
If you see this, the project is part of the Film.io perks program and is offering rewards.
If you see an inactive looking perks icon, that means the project is not currently participating in the perks program.
These rewards can include exclusive bonuses like a Superfan Film Credit (your name on the big screen), and other exclusive perks like behind-the-scenes footage, digital collectibles, video calls with the creator, and so much more!
Step 2: Open the Perks Section
Click the Perks button on the project page. This will take you to the available perks for that project.
Step 3: View Perks Screen
Inside the perks screen you’ll see:
Active Perks: The perks currently available to earn. Each active perk has a countdown timer showing when the contest ends.
When the timer runs out, perks are distributed to qualifying Superfans.
Upcoming Perks: Perks that are planned for the future but not yet active.
Earned Perks: A history of perks you’ve already won.
Step 4: Understand Perk Qualification
Perks are limited by quantity and tied to leaderboard positions. For example:
If a perk has a quantity of 100, and your leaderboard position is 90, you qualify.
If your position is 101 or higher, you do not qualify. So make sure you keep checking your leaderboard position and increase your rank so you can get those awesome perks!
