Does the Film.io dispute ring stop any other external intellectual property dispute claims?

No. If a claim for infringement to original intellectual property arises from two projects submitted to Film.io, the dispute ring will be used to determine first in time on the platform. Dispute rings will strictly provide resolutions to internal complaints about when a project was proposed to the platform, and a blockchain entry was created.
