What is staking to my project?

In the terms of the Film.io DAO, staking FAN Tokens to your project is a vote on your proposal to include the project in future Film.io opportunities.

Every member of Film.io that stakes FAN Tokens to your project is effectively voting for its inclusion in advance Film.io opportunities such as script analysis, crowdfunding, matchmaking and NFT creations. The greater a member's reputation on the platform, the higher their stake is weighted.

Fan Governance Rewards

For members staking tokens to project proposals, not only are they saying they believe in the project, they will also receive a Fan Governance Reward (FGR) percentage for staking. This incentive is to reward members for being active in the Film.io DAO and help increase their voting power on other projects and platform governance.
