What's a header image?

A Header Image is a design term to describe the oversized image at the top of your project. This is what will draw visitors to your project and get them excited about what you're doing.

The Hero Image can be adjusted to best suit your project needs. On average, we suggest using a larger image to give you flexibility in sizing and adjusting your image. If your image does not size as you expect, try using a bigger image.

Ideal Size

An ideal working size for a hero image should be approximately 1400x583 pixels. This dimension will allow you to size and adjust the placement of your hero image.
