What’s an LED Wall?

Green screens are giving way to large LED walls on soundstages. These light emitting devices allow for filmmakers to better control the scene earlier in the process. The LED walls are controlled by computers and can be loaded with digitized backgrounds and everything from the time of day to color gradients can be tweaked on set. It is vastly improving the special effects in filmmaking.
