How to Add the $FAN Token to Your Non-Custodial Wallet

Designed for most wallets and specifically MetaMask users.

If you're holding or planning to acquire $FAN Tokens, adding them to your non-custodial wallet like MetaMask allows for easy management and transactions. Since $FAN Tokens are on the Polygon Mainnet, you'll need to ensure your wallet is configured to interact with this network. Here's how you can add the $FAN Token to your wallet.

Prerequisites

  • You have MetaMask or a similar wallet installed.

  • Your wallet is connected to the Polygon Mainnet. If you haven't added the Polygon network to your wallet yet, refer to guides on adding a new network to MetaMask.

Steps to Add the $FAN Token to MetaMask on the Polygon Network

  1. Connect to the Polygon Network: Open MetaMask and ensure you're switched to the Polygon Mainnet. If you're on another network, click on the network dropdown at the top of the app and select "Polygon Mainnet."

  2. Navigate to the Tokens Section: Click on the "Assets" tab and scroll to the bottom of your token list.

  3. Import Tokens: Click on the "Import Tokens" button.

  4. Enter the Contract Address: In the "Token Contract Address" field, input the $FAN Token contract address: 0x3B9E9100Db1389c518d47c635D80a90ad4C4f41b

  5. MetaMask should automatically recognize the token and fill in the "Token Symbol" and "Decimals of Precision" fields. If it does not, you may manually enter "FAN" for the symbol and "18" for decimals, though this should be verified against official sources.

  6. Complete the Addition: Click "Add Custom Token," then "Import Tokens" to finalize the addition of the $FAN Token to your wallet.

Confirmation

You should now see the $FAN Token under the "Assets" tab in MetaMask, ready for you to manage and use on the Polygon network.

Troubleshooting

  • If you do not see your $FAN Token balance, double-check that you are connected to the Polygon Mainnet and that the contract address was entered correctly.

  • Ensure that MetaMask is up to date for the best compatibility with the Polygon network.
